nice try just tried it cause i was at autozone when your entry came in
just so frustrating to know it ran perfect before i replaced all electrical
does 50cc or 150cc have any difference on stock cdi or coil wire for that matter ?
they were both listed as ok for either and my motor started right up perfect just wont react to pedal without dying aaaaawwwwg

Did you get a cheapo CDI from ebay?
do you still have the stock CDI? It is a Dc cdi. And the ASW CDI's are really good ones. Try the stock one and see what happens.

Ehh, I doubt it. I think its electrical, not mechanical. Cdi's are purpose built. I bought a chinese "high performance " 2stroke cdi and it DID make my quad faster, as advertised. Only $20.... To my door.
As previously stated, try your old cdi.... It might actually fix the problem..... I hope anyway.....

Let me know once you put the stock cdi in.....
I can't reiterate enough you have a DC powered machine!

FYI a DC powered machine is is already pretty much at the top if its game CDI wise.
All the ac powered CDI's are converting it to Dc to get more power.

just taking a guess but check the pickup. it sounds like the pickup cant keep up with the flywheel and produce spark at higher rpms
