I think you can guess where the name came from.
This is a Baja Motorsports Dune 6.5 that bought for $60 without an engine or seat. I swapped the dirt tires to slicks, but I'll be going to sawtooth tires soon due not being able to get up my slick hills.
I still have a lot of final touches to do but it runs. I temporarily have 50 amp blade fuses on the line it pops them easily. That said, I haven't gotten a chance to give it the full beans yet but it will be good for 30mph with the 10:53 gearing I currently have.
I also plan on installing a hydraulic hand brake from a bike, just need to find the right one.
Setup
72v 3kw motor
100 amp controller (continuous amps)
18s lithium cells from a Ford plugin hybrid
Stock Razor Dune Buggy is there for size comparison. This kart is much more comfy to fit in.
