Should I throw $30 into this for a double row #40 chain coupler? Rest must be used/junked parts and scrap in the garage.

Two junkyard 208's = 416cc

That would be cool if you could get the pair to work together.....

Obviously getting the two in sync will be the greatest challenge, aswell as having the correct firing position of the opposite coil...
Im told its doable to make a custom ignition wire so you will have the length needed...

Youll need to come up with a custom air ducting and a more firm permanent joining mounting plan.
Id suggest a flex Lovejoy coupler for the two shafts, to minimize the interference of the shafts axial misalignment.

I wonder how DIY this could be done???

I want to see you do this!
And then hook it up to a converted Comet FNR gearbox to have 2 speeds! :auto:

Yes, of course they will work as a pair

The other coil, 180 degrees out, will be adjustable, and a jig that fits tight on the #1 coil will set base timing for coil #2 , and just extend the coil wire out.

As far as cooling, cooler burning fuel

The motors mounted on a stiff base, then a girdle on top the blocks, and a cage around the coupler, connecting side cover to the 4 charging coil studs , ect.

The more rigid the blocks are connected, the less misalignment there will be from vibration

I got this, no worries

ChargerMiles007 on youtube will give you an idea, but his vibrate like crazy, only connected at base of motors.

This will idle and be put under load.

Jt, that's getting out of budget! Haha would fit the theme

Alright, I think the L100 lovejoy should be sufficient, 22hp at 3450 rpm.

So the budget is spent!

Pink haha Ill compromise, since I already glued the covers on with SI 5900 instant gasket, ill grab a can of paint and cut off wheels for the base tonight.

The engine cover and base will be pink.
