We’ll get going on it already then!
I built one of the 223cc tillotsons into a race motor last year. It was a solid little unit until I raced at a track that I had never been to and missed the gear setup an overrevved it and yard sales the whole thing. You got to build a new dyno for this engine. Have you heard anything about the new 224 HF engine yet?
I’m hoping that it’ll be a ripperI have not been on this site for some time but this thread has got my attention! I will be checking in to see how this engine turns out!
Awesome stuff!
Hopefully another will open nearby
I have 13 acres on the lake, but it doesn’t lay well enough for a track. I’m not really interested in running one myself anyway because it’s mostly babysitting parents who think their kids have been cheated out of a life changing win.Small plots of land may be cheap. I think you could get a decent track with 3 acres. Long as it's not considered decent farming land, should be able to get it for like $2K per acre.
you still gunna work on the engine, i was really into this build before i had gotten grounded, i just got back and was hoping for a lil read on what you got doneI have to get the block and head cut for the o ring, then order a few things such as rockers, flywheel, and pushrods and then it’s just final assembly.
I’m not terribly worried about the season started as I’ve gotten news that my favorite track has been sold and is closed. They got a really good price for the property, so I do t blame them for selling. It’ll slow my racing down some as the nearest track to me now is about a 2hr drive.
Those s10s are pretty fun even in stock form, bet that one's a hootI’ll finish it and race it, but right now I’m sidetracked with my turbo LS pinto wagon, and my turbo LS S1-0
