Front brakes, with a 35+ hp engine 6 speed you need them at speeds at over 80 and you have one rear brake you will be saying your prayers as you crash into the tire barrier. Other wise looks great!

I was thinking about maybe throwing a cable pulled caliper almost as an ebrake sorta but space is limited right now.

A mechanical brake wont do squat, hydraulic front brakes would be almost necessary sorry to brake the bad news. Or you could do a double/ triple rear hydrauilc brakes that would be killer.

Just figured out that I do have enough room so I'm gonna try and splice on the second brake (the front brake) and go from there. I haven't been able to find any good site for hydraulic brake line and connectors though. Any thoughts?

Triple? Pointless. Absolutely pointless. One good single juice brake in the rear is fine. 2 or 3 is just lipstick on a pig. You see, we're talking about performance at speed, right? Well- if one brake will lock the rear, what will 3 do? There is no substitute for 4-wheel-braking. If you're having to hit the clamps hard at 60 MPH, rear-only brakes are going to put you into the wall, whether you have 1 or 12.

I don't know about front brakes at this point, maybe as a mod later on. Go the steering column and plate put on today. Unfortunately I won't be able to work on my kart for 11 days because we have off for Thanksgiving and the first day of deer season.
