What makes that welder so special? my cheapo mig/flux core welder does the job just fine, and you can get REALLY cheap (like $50) 220 arc welders on craigslist for the heavy stuff.

...

Oh...wow nevermind, thats whats so special. Thats a HUGE range 0.020-1" thats just crazy... 100% duty cycle at 500A...

I know your only kidding, but my cousin built a motorized shopping cart in school quite a few years ago. The idea has been around for a while and has probably been thought of before him. His had no clutch and was extremely crude though.

There was another shopping kart in a Popular Mechanic magazine :D

They used a Honda too o-o

No Kenny, Its not like the fiber cut off wheels. If you like that smell come to my school. At the end of welding class the entire 1st floor of school smells like fiber wheels and welding fumes. Gasoline doesnt smell that good, Alcohol smells like piss and burns your eyes, Racing fuel is the best smell in the world, Diesel doesnt make vapours at room temp. Freakboy the Alcohol your smelling is the fruity scents they add to it to cover up the eye burning fumes.
