hey guys, great site btw. just found it right now. but i started making my go kart yesterday and i pretty much had the frame done yesterday. today i added the front bar. to the frame and tried setting up the steering but ill need to hit up OSH or homedepot tomorrow for more supplies. Im TIG'ing the whole thing and its going to be strong as hell. ill be using a honda Gx engine.

well considering i started the gokart without even knowing about this site i didnt steal anything rofl. yours is too tall lolol mine is slamed. okay thanks a wing would be legit.

too tall? lol it just very funny to crash it on the side :roflol:


add some neons under it... lol and bodykit, hid headlights with angel eyes, civic fart can LOL


(and i did mine too in welding class LOL) i had advance on everyone so i had time to build 4 go-karts and a jet engine lol

Naw, just messing, The welders are the same as the ones I used at school, and there is a stool there too and the nice clean floors. Something I don't see in my shop. :p

We have one of those HUGE welders at my dads farm, its got to weigh like 300lbs, and its probably the size of the one in that link, or maybe even bigger, its really old, probably pre-70's.

I know your only kidding, but my cousin built a motorized shopping cart in school quite a few years ago. The idea has been around for a while and has probably been thought of before him. His had no clutch and was extremely crude though.

for the people wondering what welder im using im using a miller dynasty 700 and our mig machines are millermatic 251 and 252.
