lol why does it take all of these pages #3 to learn how to get this welder dialed in? open the box take out welder feed wire put it on some random setting and just try it out.

Dont be scared but do be respectful, just wear eye protection and you will be fine. Gotta be unpainted to start the arc.

Oh... how do I remove paint? Use those paint removers or paint stripper acids or something?

rotary tool w/ wire brush for paint or rust

or just use a grinder

remove it just where the weld is going to be

I just use a stiff wirebrush on the area I'm gonna weld to get rid of anything on the metal.

I just scratch the area with a screwdriver down to bare metal, you only need to do right where the weld is gonna be.

Too many power tools on same circuit as welder=blown fuse and damaged welder. BEAT YOU!
