Ok...wanted to make sure it was hooked up to the carb. First...unhook the spring from the lever we just talked about. See the bolt that clamps it to the shaft? Loosen that up until the shaft slips freely in that lever. Move it in the direction it takes to make the engine go faster as far as it will go. Twist the shaft in the opposite direction...(it really shouldn't move at all..but JIK..it isn't where it should be.)

Holding that lever wide open...tighten the clamp bolt up...Your governor is now properly adjusted.

Next...that tab that little hook looking thing hooks to....bend it away from the governor arm. Rehook the spring in the bottom hole of the governor arm.

Start it up...and let me know what happens.

I've already adjusted the governor as you said, thank you.

Ok I'll try bending that further from governor arm and then trying the pedal.

Well, I got another one today... price was too good to pass up. Motor I assume is completely gone. Probably not worth it to try and fix as the repair price would match a Predator 212 I assume. What do you guys think?

No you need the Coupon. I think put it in an earlier post of this thread.
You can print it or use the number on it to order online as the coupon code.

60363 is the hemi right? It's in my cart... shipping is only 6.99! I'm about to hit submit!!

Also, can the TC that's on the Carter work with this Predator? If it's even in working condition I guess. I'm not even sure if it's a live axle, but I think so. The setup is different on this one.

In my June 2016 American Rifleman mag, I have a coupon for the Predator good until September 17, 2016...with numbers matching the fabled hemi. Guess it depends who your sub'ed too.

I figured it out. I couldn't pull the throttle cable up any more, but that's not what would fix it. I needed to manually lift the throttle up a bit higher, then tighten it down on the cable. That way it had a head start when you would push the pedal. Hope that makes sense.

Daughter is finally back home, we did what I just mentioned and drove it around a bit! She loved it and couldn't get enough! Tomorrow we disassemble, paint strip, and paint hopefully.

If someone wants one...I have one I won't be using...PM me an address and it's yours.

For the non-Hemi Predator which seems to be the only one offered on the site for $99.99, all you have to do (when buying one in person) is tell them the coupon code off the website which at this time is: 63266816

Who was it here that ordered a Hemi (#60363) but Horror Fright substituted the standard engine instead?

I don't think the online ordering department differentiates between the different model numbers, unless they are shipping to Kalifornia that is. But a Predator 6.5 hp engine is a Predator 6.5 hp engine... Crooks.

That's why I'd buy one in person, so I know what model number it is. Even some other sites are like that. I believe it's BMI karts that differentiates between an aluminum and plastic handle for the Comet F/N/R gear box.
