Im starting to really wonder/question what kids are being taught these days in school....
Moniker-Slang, a person's name or nickname
Mountain Pine beetle, A big problem here(and various places in the US) with our softwood pine and other forests, killing them and eating a bunch of holes in them...

You'll need both a drill, and a hole saw in order to fabricate a mount, assuming you go that route. Odds are a pair of pillow block bearings would be far cheaper.

My school system is actually pretty good, but i still feel they teach us and require knowledge that you dont really need to be sucessful in life. but i guess the more knowledge the better off you are.
I remember learning about those beetles, but completely forgot the name.

Use the brakets but not the screws. Use bolts with washers and locking nuts, that and use 2X4's instead of the small boards you have. You will probly get a couple weeks ride before it starts falling apart.
