what do u mean by what, the whole magneto?

yeah just turn it over. lol my freind sujested it so the plug wire goes out of the top when its mounted to the block

turned it and now turning it both ways wont get it to spark. FUUUUUUU will i need a new magneto or is there a fix?

Engine should spark by simply rocking back and forth.
If it gives you a good jolt, it should be fine.

any recommended places to get a magneto? i look at the briggs and stratton catalog and they want freaking 44bucks w/o shipping...
