How does all this compare to a stack of washers?

You need the Wolf.

The washers would be lighter, cheaper, and less work, but I would need 128 of them (if they were 1/16" each).

I wanted to give the engine a nice flat base to sit on. I'm afraid of the block cracking. Maybe I'm not making enough power to break the block, but I didn't want the bottom of the block to be able to easily flex up and down. At least now, if it tries to flex.... it has a supportive Aluminum block underneath the whole thing, instead of just washers under the corners.

You need the Wolf.

"Get it straight buster, I'm not here to say please. I'm here to tell you what to do.

I'm here to help. If my help is not appreciated... Lots of luck Gentlemen.

If I'm curt with you, it's because time is a factor. I think fast, I talk fast, and I need you guys to act fast if you want to get out of this.

So Pretty Please, with sugar on top... Clean the :censored: car."

Can I make this my signature??????
BTW, The Wolf (or El Lobo for our southern neighbors) will be coming directly.

The Wolf has made its way to Illinois and should be delivered tomorrow. Can't wait to start assembly!!!!

Need to order a gas tank, but not sure what is going to look right. I'll probably end up with an expensive spun aluminum tank, but still considering this...

WTF.. For a week, I've been in contact with UPS trying to make sure my bike got delivered to my "work shop" even if there was nobody there to sign for it.

Well the house was occupied. People were there waiting for it. AND Still all I got was a notice saying they attempted to deliver it.

:censored: you UPS!!! :furious2:
Your website sucks. Your customer service sucks. You suck UPS and I will never use you for any of my shipping needs. You really screwed the pooch on this one UPS.

Time to find out if my bike got delivered today while at work. I've been enjoying the use of some functional art pieces so I can remain calm if the bike is not there. I find that kind of art has a calming effect.

It is there. I can go open her up. I might not start on assembly until tomorrow. I just worked 5 shifts in the last thee days and my last "good" meal was a frozen pizza on Friday. I guess I'm slimming up because I only drilled 28 1/2" holes instead of many more bigger ones.

I'm so lazy I stopped eating so I didn't have to clean aluminium shavings.

If a Really Slow Banshee can be built in a barn loft, an El Lobo can be built in a third story apartment.

Why are there bearings that came on my bolt? They clearly don't work INSIDE the head tube.

There might be some washers in the kit, but I'm really struggling to think of where those bearings might go? Maybe a different kit has a bigger diameter steering head??

It's strange because I had PM's going back and forth on another forum about how the neck bearings were sloppy and how he replaced them with standard wheel bearings?????????

That's mighty strange. Those bearings would be good for a jackshaft. Maybe there are versions of this frame with a larger diameter headtube.

The description says "Bearing Steering Stem"????
I'm wondering if they welded on the Azusa neck tube by mistake? Or changed the design?

I'm going to call him (in about three hours).
I don't think I got bolts to attach the sprocket, but no big deal. I got the 40T and the 54T sprocket. Not sure the 54T will work unless I cut off the bolt for the stock drum brake set up (which I don't need). I'm trying to figure out the spacers for the rear axle and brake caliper, but think I should get the engine to see where the TC sprocket will be.

The powder coat was messed up in a few spots.

The T-Nuts (threaded sleeve things) in the seat don't line up with the holes in the frame.:(
Probably easier to drill the frame then to move the T Nuts. Don't really want to do that, so I'll think how to add an adapter base for the seat or something. The spacing of the two rear seat mounting holes are off by about 1/2 the diameter of one hole.

OK, I give up. Where's the instruction manual. I don't want to start cutting, modifying things until I know what Is going on here.

What's up with Cali people not starting work until 11am Chicago Time???? LOL

And how come everyone in Europe get half days on Fridays??? so if you are Trying to conduct business with the UK on Friday, you need to get to work early and call first thing. Was very frustrating when I used to work for a UK based company, but didn't get the same holiday time.

The total length of rear axle spacers plus the width of the rim at the bearings doesn't add up to equal the width of the frame at the rear axle.

I was about to inflate the tubes and get the wheels completed, but not sure I want to do anything until I make that phone call.
