Might want to turn the bracket around and add washers for spacers so I can hide the clamp, but I picked it specifically because it fits just like this.

Turning it around puts the clamp on the 2nd stage instead of the third.
Might keep this how it is plus use the previous bracket that bolts to the engine and clamps to the 2nd stage. But I really disliked the look of the old bracket. Didn't like the "\" looking line through the frame. Built this hoping I could get rid of that "\".

Haven't fiddled with the brakes that much. They seem to fit perfect. The pads rub a tiny bit. Can't really feel resistance but can hear the rubbing when free-rolling. Is this normal with brand new brake/pads? Will they wear down and the problem fixes itself? Is there a way to adjust the pads? Will this change after I bleed them?

I think it is a Chinese ATV brake if that helps. Is that an (adjstment???) screw on the inside. Is this to adjust the pad spacing? Should I adjust before or after I bleed??? Or is it just a post?

I oppose brakes.

That looks good because once you remove that gas tank from the engine those aluminum mounting posts sure look ugly.

The stock tank also adds bracing for the engine. Prevents flexing. The top plate serves multiple functions.

Throttle linkage (I removed).
Bracing.
Aesthetics.
Gadget Mounting Panel.
N20 Hardware Mounting Plate?

Just getting started today. Trying to figure out the difference between the Lucas Red n Tacky and the Green X-tra HD Grease. Want to move the bike outside to change the oil and put the chain on. Not looking forward to rolling this down the stairs.
I'm not in as big of a hurry as everybody else. As soon as she's finished... she begins to die.:(

Sprockets and pulleys are as aligned as they are going to get.
Since I had two inches, I made use of those two inches. Can't fit a finger between the belt and kickstand bolt. Plus with no tank, the engine looks small in there. The aluminum block helps fill the space.

Chain is next. Almost done. What time is sunset? 2 hrs?
