Just for the future. Did you put the bowl on correctly? Otherwise you'll be back in a few days asking why it cuts off around corners and at high speeds.
The step in the bowl orients in such a way that the needle/seat hinge has to be in the shallow end so the float can "dip" down into the deep end when you need more fuel.
