Well I'm cheap had no money or parts to fix the budget go kart so I had the idea to fix this one since I have the parts. And I figured I'd fix 2 karts with one go. So I started with stripping the junk off chopping the exhaust up and removeing the redneck "features". And I removed the Briggs 5hp that I was swapping onto another kart took the band brake off the 25$ mini bike I have. Chopped the scrub brakes off and converted it to drum replaced the studs with bolts in the hub and drilled a hole in the engine plate for the band. Rebuilt both back slicks with used inner tubes that hold air and I need to read drill the hole for the band. And now I'm flipping the steering from back to front and unbending the tierods. I replaced the bolt in the steering wheel and flipped that upside down. Still not done with everything just small things are done.

Plans:
Finish fixing the steering
Cut the floppy front off to make it look like a rupp :p
Move the pedals back behind the steering and attach them to the engine and brake
Smaller front tires (not sure yet)
Seat
Paint
Stickers
Predator 212
Wing (it has a wing mount :))

You can't make this thing look like a Rupp at all,
but you can certainly make it look a lot less like it's missing an F1 bodykit :D
So maybe go for that instead ;)

now.. sharpen your wrenches ...

So if managed to mount the brake pedal probably shoud move the band mount and move the pedal forward but the original metal bar that made the scrub brakes work is now way too long since the pedals are behind the tie rods now. And the manco one I used is still slightly too long. But drilling a few new holes should fix that. Still need to tighten the steering bolts and make a proper seat but I have driven the go kart and it handles pretty well and I have an idea to make the throttle look pretty cool. I couldn't take pics too busy and phone died. I'll take some tomorrow

Here's pictures what did I do wrong do I need to trim anything or just move mounting holes

Brakes are redrilled and now work properly but they just slightly rub in a spot nothing a spring can't fix. And now the gas pedal is mounted with a cable on the frame and I'm letting my drills charge before drilling the last hole for the throttle cable.
Then I plop the 212 on fix the spacing and then do the tiny things and it's ready to drive and tear up the neghbor hood! :2guns:

Edit: here's a pic of the test drive, drove it for about ten whole min and the throttle cable snapped and I don't have one long enough to replace it. Also chickens...

Dunno, but from the looks of Ike's kart's drive wheel, it looks like you guys like burnouts and drifting! :lolgoku:
I love to drift my kart too.
I'd replace that seat, 'cause it's just too much.

The drive tire's inner tube shredded to bits and caused the slicks inner bit to wear away quite a bit so now it doesn't fit on the rim. So I'm putting 6 inch off road tires with a mix of its stock rims and manco deeper dish rims.
And also quite a few washers to space the sprocket enough to make the chain fit with the bigger tires. Cant wait to drive it! Also now it does have a new throttle cable and still the brakes don't work.
