she gets on it and just twists the throttle all the way... Next thing you know the trike is high noon with the front tire over the hood of the mini van and wife is on her a$$.:smiley_omg:

I did not get vid, but should have....I thought I would get vid once she is comfortable riding it - missed a Kodak moment.:mad2:

Ah man.....! You could have had a priceless bit of film for the world to see on YouTube :D :D.

Just joking. I am glad she is OK. We still need that vid though :D

Welp... After a few months of intense riding and putting this trike to the tests, something finally broke.
My return line nipple, from my fuel pump. I think the constant vibration and jb weld expose them gas caused this.

I will try to repair with jb weld next time.

My pump has 3 ports. 1 pulse, 1 to the carb and one fuel "supply" from the tank. What is a "return" line? I am not saying you are wrong or anything I just did not know about a return line?

You don't want to much pressure/ fuel pumped to carb because it can prematurely wear the needle seat and or force fuel past it causing flooding and fuel leaking down cylinder. So I put a tee going to the carb. Half the pumped fuel goes to carb the other half back to the tank, just to go back out the tank.

Thanks Nick. The other reason I asked is because my Kart did not really work with the fuel pump. It would start fine, It would idle forever, but if you drove it, it would stall after 30 seconds of driving. I restart then 10sec. then 2sec. then wait 10 minutes and same again 30, 10, 2. I wonder if I put the pump back on with a T and return it will work.
Thanks again

Again This evening, Thank you very much. Today I went and got a brass T and some Fuel line. For the first time since I relocated the tank and got my Fuel pump The Kart stays running. :bannana: I almost forgot how much fun it is to drive :auto:and How awesome it handles after test driving my kids Mini Karts for the past few weeks (they are sketchy).
And of course to Everybody Half breeder shared this tip so thanks to Him!

(Edit) I got a threaded barbed fitting for the tank, since it is plastic I just drilled the hole tight and threaded it in. No leaks yet, But I did not Fill the tank.

Update on the trike.

It has been handling pretty good, but some upgrades are in it's future.
I am currently running the stock 145x70-6 tirrs with the arrow treads. They are beginning to wear and I would like to use those for the 2 wheel minis. I already ordered two 15x6-6 ribbed tires (4 ply ). Those should give me more surface area to the road and make it more fun in the grass.

Over the winter I plan on adding a wheelie bar so I can actually cat walk the trike. I also plan on taking off the 20 series TC with 7" driven and putting on my 30 series with 6" driven, adding a disc brake ( ditching the band brake ), adding a chain tensioner, and adding a steering damper.

The handle bars do wobble at speeds greater than 10mph if you lift your hands. It is fine as long as two hands are on handle bars, but I would feel safer with a stabilizer of some sort.
I will update as upgrades are made.

Thanks.
I am geared pretty low right now.
I have 7" driven, 13T on Js sprocket, 66t axle sprocket.

It only has about a 1-2" ground clearance from the sprocket guard. Also since it is rigid it is a rough ride. Maybe I should add a springer seat pan...

Well, I dig these tires a lot more than the knobbies. Better handling in the corners and tires are square to the ground to allow a even tire wear.
