Thanks man. Of course, they need work, (pistons) but i have 2 250r top ends ready to go. Then ill save up for a TRX330 piston (for the 300 kit) and porting by flotek.

Well, there is a huge difference between our 'cleaning up the ports' and professional port work. Its a science. Porting makes HUGE gains when the 'porter' actually knows what has to be done for the riding style, and has the experience. There's more than just polishing and opening up holes. Denny at Flotek knows what hes doing. Check out the 300R drag bike, ported by flotek

Banshees are twin cylinder liquid cooled 350's, 250r/300r is a single cyl air cooled.

Yeah, I know the difference between just cleaning it up and actual port work. I've seen it done many times at Polar Motorsport's of Carelton Place, Ontario. Hes one of the best known people for performance clutching for snowmobiles and Junior Dragsters. He also builds snowmobile racing engines and you should of seen a liquid 440 on the dyno. It was only on one cylinder for now but holy crap did that thing SCREAM around 10.5 rpm. I think it pulled 48 HP on one cylinder at 10.5. Shaking the dyno room pretty darn good!

Why was he running only 1 cylinder? Surprises me that it wound out that high on 1 slug? Newer liquid 440's pull 110 hp stock!

They test and tune one cylinder at a time. Hes been making changes and changes and more changes for the past 4 months. I'm not allowed to tell anyone his R&D. These motors are for competition use and in that class there also restricted to 32 mm carbs. They have made secret parts to work around the small carb.

I've done CR80's and KTM 85's...basically the same thing..Is that engine power valved? If so..be careful not to mess up the linkage adjustment.

IDK, mine didn't have all the hoses on it. Bought it at haydays for 5 bucks. They are a BEOTCH to take the slide off.
