Is it the v6 mustang or the Roush edition. That really is gonna make a difference in your top speed.

Actually from a cobra.

:funnypost: Are you planning to remove the anti twist indentations on the elevating shaft, or just zip tie a board directly to the castor wheel frame? One tie or two???

I prefer zip ties and duct tape. An engineer told me duct tape when applied correctly is very strong. ya know you gotta believe what those train engineers say because they are always moving forward in their line of work.

Gotta love this guy

I have access to a mustang drivetrain that is supercharged with triple stage nitrous. How fast you think i can go with it bolted to my 16 foot boat trailer. I can put a handle on the trailer jack and steer it like a rudder.

Thoughts

I think you could easily hit 500 mps with that set up, Umm hmm.

I reckon I like me some french fried taters... Mmm hmm

FYI This guy is an actual engineer

Which railroad does he drive for? You know...you can shut us all up and make us look the fools if you could produce anything more than teenage slobber....such as ANY kind of documentation.....

BTW: Does daddy know you're fooling around with his computer thingy?

Wow I really must have struck a nerve to have grown men have an argument with a teenager about go karts also you must feel really manly picking on a teenager about an idea about a go kart.

:lolgoku: I've been known to pick on grown men that are a lot smarter than you....if anything, I would wager that you've been cut some slack by some of the members here because you're a teenager and are new. But your last post has just validated the continuity of your delusional troll behavior.

There's a saying here and a reason for it: "Pictures or it didn't happen."

Soooooo......once again all we have is a bunch of talk with escalating arrogance and no proof of anything and another flubb by the great 137 IQ ....."IDEA"????? That's all it is....and a poor one....and if you were really doing anything about this but daydreaming....you would have said "plan".

I gotta say, I find it entertaining when you guys feed the troll. Hey, why not? Troll food is cheap and you really can't get your fingers bitten.:lolgoku:

Sometimes it's annoying to have trolls.

This time we all knew it was a troll, and just decided to screw with it a bit.

See how riled up we can get it.

Ugly trolls get uglier when their mad hehe.

You do realise I couldn't care less about any of your opinions now

...& yet, you're still here...

because I have found an actual engineer, I stress actual engineer who went to university to become an engineer who has a excellent understanding of physics.

True but, from an engineers point of view, he's only investigation whether it's physically & mechanically possible, he's not even considering the personal safety of the driver of such a vehicle...

Wow I really must have struck a nerve to have grown men have an argument with a teenager about go karts

Our #1 priority is safety; the #1 reason we don't condone or entertain this type of build is because, at those speeds, one false move & YOU'RE DEAD! We don't want any part of that...

also you must feel really manly picking on a teenager about an idea about a go kart.

It doesn't matter to us whether you're 16 or 46, the only difference age would make to this thread is it would've ended a long time ago because anyone with a bit more maturity would've realised that your idea is completely ridiculous & dangerous...

If you wish to continue with your endeavour, good luck but, in case you haven't guessed yet,
we don't want to know about it...

I would not recommend wood, that is far too unstable, fragile, unforgiving and- if you would, by the time you built that tree with wheels, it will hit too much wind. I would pick very tough steel, and some aluminum plating. Arc welding perhaps. Should be wider than the average kart. brakes on all fours would make sense.
