Can anyone help, Or heard of SONIK ?

Really need some help if poss, have a sonik 250cc road buggy, but cant find anything on them on the net ? does this mean they are rubbish ? There are a few probs i really need help with also, one being i can find no tensioner at all on the buggy to fit a new chain. any help or even sumone saying they have heard of the buggy wud be great

its actually called a sonik crazy king-1 yh250a eec,

think to be honest the build quailty is quite poor, but was hoping to sort things like that out, lol maybe put a r1 engine in there with a lil help from u lot

could you get pics maybe? What exactly do you need help with? chain should be tensioned with either a tensioner (u cant find) or there should be adjustments from the engine or axle.

Yea no tensioner, somebody said may have to move the engine abit, by losening the 4 bolts ?

This is the buggy, really wanted to find a good service manual that would help over all really as what came with the buggy is a joke lol

Also need to fit handbrake cable as its broke, well all freyed but think i can prob sort that, just the chain is 3mm short but if had another link would be way to long so deff need to find a tensioner or sumin simelar

Yea, just loosen the bolts holding the engine, move it till the chain fits properly.

really hard getting under and seeing it, guess i need to jack it up or get it over a pit, any ideas on where or how i can get some sort of manual on this buggy ? asked the company and had no reply,, thanks for your advice anyhow

I know this is gonna sound daft but i can see what four bolts on the engine it is i need to losen so to get this chain on,

is it on the main frame or the engine itself ?

Just reach your hands up from under the engine there should be a metal plate and feel around for bolts sticking through with nuts on the end. there really shouldnt be any other bolts or nuts under the engine.

today i went and got the chain sorted so it fits but sure now its a little lose, ive felt 4 the bolts but no joy, was hoping now the chain is on just lose maybe another way around it ?

the chain needs to have some slack and if it has to much and the chain keeps falling off lossen those 4 nuts on the bolts and move the engine foward to tighten and then tighten them.

never found the 4 bolts ? know where 2 look just not having any joy

can you take a picture of the rear end of the kart including lots of them with the engine and axles and what not? then i could help out a bit more.
