thanks rabies... if you want to build one, i'll help you with any measurements or questions you may have. that goes for anyone. even though i'm in the process of putting plans together, i'll still help out.

Thanks EC1, i appreciate it.

i was looking at the frame last night and thought of a couple more things i need to do.. so, it might be another two weeks before i actually get it powdercoated. i'm anxious to get it done... but, i want to make sure everything is done right so i'm trying not to rush.

Really, really nice build. How many feet of tube did you use? I am really wanting to build one. Please can I have some plans too, mine will be more of a field cruiser.

thank you flowerman... i think i used 35 ft or so. When the plans are ready... i will let you know. :)

thought i would share a quick video taken yesterday... this is what a 38yr old looks like on a new toy.

and... the 'crazy' comment at the end is referring to the first wheelie attempt in which i almost looped it, but saved it. good stuff. i now know the rear hydraulic brake works great!!

on to the goods:

Thank you fellas. I re-joined/updated my password today and I asked that this thread and another be activated again so I could post an update.

I used a Pro-tools bender to do the tubing.

Finished product:

thanks for looking.

I used a Pro-tools bender to do the tubing.

I'm going to invest in 'The Trunk Monkey'!!!:D I am also pretty sure that the engine is installed and removed through the top once the seat is removed!! Very ingenious!!!!! Very nice tube/pipe bending equipment and manufactured right here in Florida!!!I'm going to purchase one for myself and from what I'm seeing in your projects, I will be very pleased!!! Thanks!

Ha! Yup... engine comes out thru the top. I almost made tube bungs so that the top half of the cage came off. But, i couldnt find any bungs for that size tubing. If you go with a pro tools bender, i think you will like it.

This looks really cool. Sorry you never did find the old one, the punk that took it better have put it to good use. Or gave it to a kid relative.
