Tinkering around the garage last night after work, I finished the shifter. I used the shift ball from my Camaro (it was previously taken out). All in all, i'm very happy with the way it turned out. I mounted it on bearings so it has a very nice and smooth movement to it.

Do you have details on how you did this? I'm very interested in doing the same! Thanks! :drool5:

Sorry, I worked it all out in my head. I can try and get some details pics for you if you would like.

Even though I only had 1 day this weekend to work on it (darn easter) I'm more than happy with what was completed.

Made and installed the floor panel, dash and hood.

Mounted the seat belt.

Install the chains and made the custom chain tensioner for the top chain. The rear adjusters that I created worked out perfectly.

Hopefully if I can get my cooling lines all worked out by next weekend, I'll try and start her.

Tasks left to do.

hookup coolant lines
install radiator overflow tank
plumb and connect the brake lines
Mount and connect the battery
Wire up front lights and winch
install all switches in the dash
Install tail lights

Should be a good solid days work if I can get all the parts in hand. I'm also considering skinning the sides with Diamond plate as well since I have enough left over.

Yeah, if you could that would be awesome... It's looking pretty sweet so far!! I say go for it with the sides and the diamond plates. I think it would look badass!

Really really nice build.... But was the winch really necessary lol.

Love It:2guns:

That winch will be the best part of the entire build. By the time I'm done, it will be one heavy beotch. Ever try pushing 500lbs up a trailer or even get it unstuck if trapped in some mud? Its not fun. And seeing as it was only $60, it is a valued investment.

Thanks for all the compliments. I got all the gas and radiator plumbing done last night and started on wiring the dash with key, push button start and kill switch. Hopefully I'll have all that wrapped up this weekend. Then its just a matter of time before I get my brake hoses in.

I agree with you on the winch! Best thing you could add to this build! Keep it coming along! Can't wait to see video of it running!

Got a lot done this weekend. Almost finished the wiring, dash completed, finished gas pedal, mounted battery, plumbed in the cooling system welded up the exhaust and started messing with the clutch. Also made a heat shield for under the radiator.

Oh and I forgot to mention. SHE IS ALIVE!!!!!
