Did you put in a couple of extra washers between the 2x4 front end and the 2x6 frame to minimize interference when attempting to turn ?

An upgrade would be a 3-1/2" diameter disk from a cheapie plastic cutting board (at least 3/8" thick) then put the correct size hole in it to make it into a really big washer that may spread out the load from the steering to the frame.

Also sure to put on a nylock nut or drill and wire tie to keep the nut from loostening on your steering.

I still think about a plywood kart ever once in a while. Ever see LVL beams ? They are load rated and can be scaled wider thn thicker to be load bearing beams in houses !

BTW, sure you have seen something similar on YT, like BuildBreakRepeat's wooden kart tribute build.

This one by a school team uses plywood and electric motors and would pribably shatter the 15mph safety barrier IMHO. It could handle a good gasoline engine upgrade.

Yes, I have put washers to space out the steering, It does not have a lock nut on it yet but will just add some lock tight and it should be fine, and this "kart" is based off of the build break repeat tribute Kart, the only difference is, mine has a live axle and slicks so this thing will be doing burnouts and donuts (unless the frame cracks in half lol) this thing flexes whenever I sit on it or place the engine on it, is that just the boards I have propped it up shifting or is that just the level of crappiness that this thing is.

Theyre alright....Not the greatest....
But theyare for a China quad.. the 3 bolt pattern is typical of the China imports and the hubs for them are going to be a real pain to source... but the thing is going to need an axle to fit it which is metric and has a splined end....
I cant tell off hand as to the situation of a rear axle I have .. but Im pretty sure that is it... As Im also in need for a set of these exact wheels...
