When I started the engine with the clutch on, It immediately engaged, should I idle down the engine or is there something wrong with the clutch?

The clutch chain needs to be hooked up to a load, or it will just freewheel.

If you're only doing a stage 1 kit on the Predator, then I doubt you'll need slicks for traction. I also assume you're going with whatever cheap chinese clutch you can get your hands on so I think lawn mower wheels and tires would be perfect.

I saw the cheapest clutch on amazon with a chain for about 20 bucks but then, I wanted to see what it looked like with the chain connected to the axle but, the chain wouldn't fit properly, so I contacted the seller to try and figure out what kind of sprocket came with the kit, and it was a T8F chain meant for 110cc engines so I looked on gopowersports.com and sure enough they have the right kind of hub and sprocket that will fit but it will add an extra 40 ish dollars to the total price of the build.

So I have added reinforcements underneath the kart to make it less sketchy than it already is, also, It has hydraulic disc brakes! so this thing should stop. I have also bought a pair of Bridgestone racing tires for 20 bucks that were on 80mph race karts and the predator does run on the first pull.
