no, what you should do it set it back as it was, take some heavy wire like 10 gauge, run it into the arm hold and put it into a place on the arm, itll bypass it and youll get a lot more out of it

i wouldnt completely bypass the gov. if you do this you should just remove it completely.

yeah i can agree with that! well im off to do electrolysis on the chain, and weld a patch on the gas tank..

the tank leaks gas out the fuel meter area so im just gonna weld a piece of metal over it.. dont use the meter anyways its not accurate.

I hope you fill it full of water first, otherwise this may be the last post we here from you.

:roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:

i almost died when i read this! im not that dumb, i know not to weld on a gas tank that has gas in it :roflol:

okay so i need a new gas tank now.

heres the order of events.

drained gas.

removed the tank, and oops, wrecked this spring. well i have a spare so its ok.

took some paint off.

marked a piece to be cut out of some thick steel...

cut the piece out, perfect, tight fit.

things started to go wrong once i started welding. i realized, this tank is made out of super thin, tin foil like metal. it did nothing but blow holes and i spent hours grinding and welding to correct them.

the affected area grows, it leaks so much.

and heres what it was doing. so frustrating. just makes holes, i was welding on speed 1-2, minimum amps. also i was stopping and starting so much to try to keep it from melting to nothing.

so thats my story, i need a new tank. its hopeless. i dont have the tools to fix this. :worried2:

i disagree
if u were doing this on a car u would have filled the tank with deisel and welded it up

we have brazed truck tanks up with deisel running everywhere

it that a real lid on the fake gas tank?

could u just add a petcok to the tank and use it?
if not surely u can weld a lid on

i agree with r 97

the fake tank is just a shell. the cap isnt unscrew-able. it would take alot of work.

cant find a tank for less than $40 plus shipping...
