Finally got new sockets and fix those today, needle bearings come tomorrow. Put transmission back together.

Put mechanical away and back to body, not much too see except clouds of dust from sanding and fumes from melting plastic.

BTW there is ZERO bondo or filler used only primer. YES I'm that good at body work

LETS THROW A PARTY All that nasty undercoat is gone, well at least from the body. Now I need to clean and prepare for all the holes an cracks to repair and throw some primer and paint down.

Best $1.50 I ever spent, did whole body with just one. And my new heater, a borrow from a friend, will be put to good use seeing as we are still having winter temps here.

lots of progress since I last checked it out. The body is shaping up nicely and it looks like you have the mechanical sorted out. I think there is tons of life left in that $1.50 wire wheel great deal on that.

Yup we got a pile of snow over the weekend as well and its pretty cold too!!
Keep at it I cant wait to see this one done.

I almost picked up a PLAY cat last year but couldn't get the 400 bucks.

Not sure about roof supports, slowly getting body done and working on some mods.

Think I have roof figured out, almost done. Made mounts so that it is removable and brackets as you can no longer get aluminum brazing wire or flux without a **** contract in my area. So without farther complaints here is today's progress.

Busy day, finished roof supports and started making new body guards and started welding top and bottom together. Slight mod to body to allow the frame to be removed without taking top off.
