I used a socket extension in the flywheel cup against part of the frame.

1. Put Recoil back on.
2. Fill with oil.
3. Put spark plug in.
5. Put 0.042" main jet back in
6. Check and tighten bolts/nuts
7. BRAKES - I'll try to gravity bleed and see, but I think I need a rebuild or alternative.

The go kart shop near me sucks. I called about a mechanical brake caliper and got no help. i called about a engine mount before and no help.

I wish I had more hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs down.

I'm going to fill with oil and try to fire it up. Instead of jetting bigger, I added the muffler and Pre-Filter.

Last time I used like 21 oz to get half way up the dipstick.

As soon as I remember to open the valve cover and position the push rods in the rockers and set the lash.
There's no way I would forget to do that.

Maybe I should just return this one. LOL

I always forget something, or five things... That's why I hate TV shows about car's, they always completely restore a car in a week and it does wheelies the first time they turn the key and sells for five times what they put in it.

I'm not happy with a few of the bolts in the steering U joints. I'll see what I got laying around.
Except for the brakes, I think I'm close.

Not really happy with the sprocket chain belt pulley. It doesn't seem to spin as free as it should. Maybe the new belt? Maybe I need a new chain?
The Driven Unit seems a bit whacked. If it breaks, I got an original comet on the Mini.

I am really sick of these MCP brakes. I'm not sure if I'm not bleeding correctly, or it they need rebuilding. If I buy another bottle of DOT 5 fluid, I going to go ape sht at AUTOStore

You could try using a pump oil can with a hose at the end attached to the bleeder and reverse fill the hydraulic system. It's worked for me when bleeding hydraulic clutches in cars.

Is your bleeder higher than your MC?

I jack up the front. Then I attach a tube with a pipe on the end. Thread the pipe into the reservoir, attach the tube, and fill to the top with brake fluid.

The top of my attachment is a foot or so higher than the caliper.

Maybe I just didn't bleed em enough? I'll try again before buying something or taking em apart again.

Open the bleeder really far. Just enough to make fluid come out, doesn't always get all the air.

I can post a video if you want. I got it started on stands. The TC Driver was engaged and if I tried to turn down the idle so that is wasn't engaged, the engine died.

Not very impressive, but got the video if you want to see it. I wish I didn't have to put on youtube. People are going to be like WTF - this same sht again?

You need a little load on it. My wheels spin at idle on stands too. But not on the ground.
With a CC I adjust the idle to just where it does not drive away on its own.

That seems fine? Like Chancer said, mine idled the same way with the wheels up, but would sit still on the ground.

I was more concerned about the difficulty spinning the rear wheel and the way it stopped abruptly.

To be continued in the A.M....
