Washers and Grinders, Navy Beans, Meatloaf Sandwich, Sloppy Joe...

I'll share this instead..

Not too hard with the die grinder and (sharpening???) stones.

One stone per washer. I made one for the jackshaft too. I wanted to limit the end play. I about cut the play in half. I had to grind the washer to thin in out to avoid eliminating the end-play altogether.

What is normal end-play on a 30 series TC jackshaft????

Poboy always has good ideas:idea2:

---------- Post added at 02:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:36 PM ----------

Since I want to see what the engine can do....

I will leave the 8T on the the and 16" wheels for now.

I'd like to see max RPM like this, then maybe see if I can get that same RPM with the bigger tires or higher gearing.

I'm curious about this myself. You've increased RPM, and extended the powerband. Basic internets knowledge says your engine runs like poo at low RPM now. I say, that if it makes 15hp or better up top, it can't help but have increased pull over stock down low.

The Black Mamba Jr was advertised as Ultimate Torque Cam and also 6000+. Somewhat conflicting, but probably just a mild cam with increased lift but not too much duration.

It is supposed to be an improvement over the entire powerband from 2-6k.

From my limited testing so far, it is making more power across all RPMs.

I've always said, that HP being a function of torque X RPM/5252, you can't build a engine that makes big power and NOT have torque. I mean, maybe if we were talking 15,000 rpm, but the 7-8 that pushrod engines are typically limited too? It'll make torque too, I believe it.

Maybe if the gravity rate isn't fast enough I can lift the tank to the back of the roll cage and see if the extra height improves rate? "?????

This will not help. 10" or 10" Gravity is Gravity.

Should be plenty.
Now have to remove carb adapter fitting and put plug instead

U = mgh
Stored potential energy = mass x gravity x HEIGHT

Roller coasters with an bigger initial hill will go faster at the bottom than a roller coaster with a smaller first hill.

If flow area stays the same, but velocity increases... Volume increases.

Actually he's right lol. Height will increase pressure. Read how water towers work perhaps. Having lived in a house at one point with gravity feed water pressure, I know how it works. More height equals more pressure which equals having a shower with some pressure.

Ok I was thinking once terminal velocity is reached there is no difference between 100ft and 1000 ft. or 10,000 foot.
But how much faster is your fuel gonna move if your tank was directly above the engine or realistically 3 feet higher on the top of your roll cage?

Agreed, for practical purposes, I don't think it will matter.

It would be more advantageous to force fuel through, or upgrade to larger lines and fittings.

Can we move on???? Please????

I think the test showed that I am getting enough fuel with these fittings, lines, and tank height.
