I've been sellin' stuff on Ebay to get parts money.
Just sayin' that there's a LOT of ways to make money for karting endeavors as long as you are willing to put in the work.
For a while my bro and I mowed lawns for money. Made a LOT!

Cool!
I hope to drift in my kart once it's done.
Can't work on it for at least several days since I busted up my knee when I crashed my bike.
But it's gonna be a MONSTER torque build.
I might not even remove the governor, but just see what I can do under 3600 RPM.
I'm talking a Dyno Cam, header, jetting, high intake filter, or really whatever I can do to increase torque primarily.
Fix that stiff steering and post a video! (Preferably with drifting involved!)
Oh, and also, I hope you dried off your kart, otherwise it'll start rusting.

Dang! That thing looks epic!
I think it would've looked better if you had painted a few of the bars red, and then painted the rims black.
 Good job though!
What engine is that?
If it's torquey enough, that would be a great off roader!

Question Can i use cotter pins in the front spindles to keep the lock nut from un screwing and washers to space the wheel farther from the hub i will have to take more pictures when i get home

If there is a hole in the spindle threads, yes a cotter pin would work. You could also put another nut on the end to keep the first one one.
I assume you already have a self-locking nut, so I'll rule that out.
And yes you can stack washers between the hub and wheel.
That's the situation on my drive wheel from the previous owner, and I'm just going to restack them.

Update 5!

Update i fixed the wheel spacing im going to make more videos of the kart speed testing and other stuff. And! The build is NOT complete for any one who may think so a build is never done unless you started from scratch.
My current list:
Wind sheild
Roll cage/bar
Performance mods ( tc, filter, jetting, etc)
Raise and stiffen front shocks or get better ones
Little problems like wheel rub
Paint repair
Seat belts
New steering wheel
Replace some hardware
Fix vibrations
Seat back
Headlights/tail lights, battery, etc
Storage boxes
Tow hitch
And theres more but i dont want to think about it too hard .

Sweet!
Looks like it'll be a nice cruiser when it's done! Comfy, too...
If you're going to do a windshield you're probably going to end up making some custom bodywork to go with it.

A yard kart with a Briggs is hard to simplify at all, but of course that depends on the specific kart.
:lolgoku:
It's kinda funny how you want a yard kart, and I someday want a suspended kart.
The concrete is always cleaner in the other garage. :p
