This is probably a retarded question but would a 5-3.5hp fly wheel work on an 8 hp engine?

Its a timing pun because we are speaking about flywheels dont let it go over your head.:roflol:

Probably not. But I would highly advise revising your question. Unless done in the proper context (notably engine ignition timing), people may take offense to the choice wording.

If I recall properly, the 3hp and 5hp engine flywheels are commonly swapped around. However I havent found anything pretaining to using those on an 8hp engine.

Update 8!

Changed my mind on the briggs swap now im putting a 50$ 420cc subarubaru robin on it. but now i need to save up another 25$ which thats probaly coming from mowing my neigbors yard. Also the rear subframe of the yerfdoge cracked right through a gusset and twisted, and made the chain hit the clutch so i have to fix that. I already have 25$ and im tryna buy a cheap tc from china.

Wow, a lot of engine choice changes.
That Subie should be very smooth(if it runs well :p), but make sure it doesn't need any major parts. Subie parts are ridonkulously expensive.
Git that frame fixed!

I suggest just taking one engine choice and actually making it work so that you can ride the kart. If you keep on changing your mind you are never going to get the thing going.

Each time you change your mind there is extra stuff you have to do to get it to work. Stop messing around and just get an engine on there :ack2:
