Upgrades and bracing are done ! Got the new sprocket on, the idler sprocket rewelded on spot, and the bracing to keep the rear carrier from moving done.

Gonna try and go Saturday money permitting.

This thing is awesome! While it's not a motorcycle engine powered kart, I'm adapting an trx400 swingarm to the rear of my kart. It's tricky but I git it figured out and will be converting to dual shocks in the rear end using the stock single ahick mount location.

Good day yesterday.

And turbo hayabusa mini rail from a roll that left way early....... BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME !!!! I still caught and passed him at the end. Needs some stiffer shocks also. Still got got quite a bit left in it for sure. I turned the efi tuner up some and it pulled harder up high for sure.

Won a lot of races then broke a shift fork. So I was skipping 2nd gear the last half of the day and still keeping up with everyone !

Well after a lot of cussing and cutting I finally got my collector to fit ! Didn’t work as planned still gotta weld the tubes on it as it’s extremely tight under the engine on 2 sides. But it fits ! Now I can hook up my PC5 wideband and tune it better tho.......... or just say screw it and put my turbo on it. 🤔😇🤔

I've been looking for rims...

So here we go. First off I would like to merge the 2 to not confuse people. Yerf dog Spiderbox for drag racing , SCCA solo racing , autocross , and grudge drag racing. All in one package !

2018 diygk entry.

I've been looking for rims like in your picture, online and otherwise. Can you tell me where to get them?

The silver NON polished wheels I had a t first are the AMS steel wheels for atv’s. And I got them off eBay or any other atv shop has them.

New front wheels and finally changing transmissions ! 2nd gear engagement dogs were rounded off. Also changing the shifter for a auto clutchless shifter.

Somebody was messaging me about what I used to make the Yamaha banshee axle stuff work. Here are the pics...........

Stock style banshee axle is 35mm. They make other 40mm ones but those are the more expensive all billet style axle.

Also refer to page 13 of this thread for all the pics of axle setup.

Lookin' real good

Your exhaust looks really kool too :2guns:

But, it looks kinda close to (3) heat sensitive components
...your caliper, brake line & tire

How hot do ya think it's gonna get?

While crusin' shouldn't be a problem
...but, after a good run, a lot of BTU's should be radiating off of that thing

It looks closer than it really is. And those tires are a lot closer than all my other wheels are. My other ones have less backspace.

And it won’t get too hot. I got it started and heat cycled it for the first time. Everything seems good to go and it shifts without the chain so I’m guessing it’s fixed. All I gotta do now is get the passenger seat, weld a few tabs, and get the shifter stuff.

Got to drive it again tonight finally for the first time with the new exhaust , shifter , transmission installed. Feels like its making more power and I havent really got the tune up changed yet either. And the transmission shifts better than it did when I first built it. Completely blew threw the tires 1st-4th. Lol

Might have an itty-bitty tiny traction problem? :p
Sounds nuts.
Maybe some Hoosier slicks? :D
