For the Krate I am going in an Artistic direction.
The krate will be in the style of an old wooden Krate with slats on the sides.
I will use a steel frame with Black (flex seal?)corner uprights.
The slats will be hammered copper.
To make the slats I found some old extruded aluminum and wrapped them in the hammerd copper sheet.
They will will be riveted to the black steel with Copper rivets.
Pic 1 and 2 are the aluminium.
3 is the hammered copper sheet.
4 and 5 are the partially assembled krate side with rivet detail.
Pic 6 is the inspired Krate.

Thanks Kelly.
I ran out of Copper, what I had was free. So I have to search out more next week.
Here are a couple of Ideas I use Just wanted to share.
Pic 1 I hand hammered all of this copper on a block of wood with a ball pean hammer. Copper is cool to work with cause it is solid. You can always clean up the color, not like paint that scratches. and this being a hammered Design you can bend it and reshape it and hammer out any defects.
Also I made a square frame with angle iron. So I marked it out and cut opposing 45° angles.
Then I put a small piece of angle on the corner of my bench and bent it on that clean corner. Then you just weld up the last seam. This way there is 1 seam instead of 4 to try and line up clamp and weld.

Inboard Clutch

I have never Run a clutch "inboard"
On this project due to Space constraints with in my Krate.
I think it would be better to run the Clutch inboard.

Is there anything spacial about doing it this way?
Can you do that with any typical CC?
Does it still bolt up the same?
ETC Etc?

Here's how you run it inboard: Find a mirror and stand in front of it holding the clutch in your left hand where you can see it in your reflection. Now turn around, put the clutch in your right hand while rotating it 180 degrees. Now turn back around and note the position of the clutch in the mirror. Install it just like you see it.

No complicated instructions needed. Just put it on the other way round and you are good to go. I would maybe put a small spacer between the clutch and engine, otherwise the chain can rub on the engine

Well the pics came out sideways, but what I was trying to convey, Is that this Kart frame is lower in the rear by 1 inch.
With the Krate on it looked obvious.
So I cut 3/4" off the front so the krate sits level. or parallel to the Ground.
