That sounds like a great idea
Plus I failed to mention that the super trapp model that I will use is stainless steel construction which will not melt like regular steel because this engine will melt a plain steel muffler.

I just searched the exhaust you was talking about up and it looks so awesome, you should still have it as a side exit exhaust with the new super trap muffler like you had with the straight pipe

I've Been Planning For A While To Do A Side Exhaust On My Go Kart With Snowmobile Engine,I Plan On Curving The Exhaust Under The Seat And Out The Right Side.Have A Picture That Kinda Shows What Half Of The Exhaust Is Going To Look Like And No That's Not The Actual Muffler I Was Just Seeing How It's Going To Look Like, The Muffler Is Going To Be This Other One In this picture With A 50 Degree Angle Pipe Or So Sticking Out The Side With A Silencer In The Pipe For More Backpresserure For The Engine.BTW It's A Pit Bike Muffler

You know the best exhaust for your two stroke is an expansion chamber right? it is the single most important performance enhancement gain that you will get from your two stroke.

Yeah I know but originally This Motor didn't come with an expansion chamber,it came with a can type exhaust , it's a rotax 399cc type 401 ,so Im not going to lose Hp or hurt the motor, and plus I don't have the technology or money to make a custom one like you, so I think this setup will be fine

Don't ever think that you can't do something by yourself! There were some old sleds that used that engine that have tuned pipes and if you look hard enough you might find something dirt cheap.
It is your machine you do what you want I am just making a suggestion at any rate you will have plenty of power with what you choose to do.

Yep I know but it's hard to find it on eBay, and the area I live in doesn't have much snowmobiles we have more jet ski's here in Virginia, and plus I have limited amount of space on the go kart and Want To Keep The Cost Of The Go Kart Down I Already Invested So Much Into The Motor Alone but thank for the suggestions

Here I am milling down these ugly green pillow block bearings so as the mounting holes will be in the center of the frame rail.
I use 1-1/4 angle iron to not only back up the bearing mounting holes but to also support the pillow block bearing against side load shifting and in turn the rear axle shifting around. This is one of the locations where the T6061 aluminium spacers that I have yet to make are used, they go inside the frame tubing and keep the tubing from crushing from the bearing mounting bolts. I use 7/16 grade 8 bolts in this location with hardened flat washers and lock nuts.I have a very simple way that I retain the bushings inside the frame rails that I will show later, also I have a really simple engine mount and chain adjustment method that I have yet to show.

Awesome it's looking good, BTW I always wondered how does the bearing hold in the axle in place and stop it from moving?
The bearings have set screws which will not hold the axle from moving under heavy side loads. What I do to eliminate this problem is I make aluminum bushings that slide over the axle and butt up against the inner bearing race of the pillow block bearings and the other side goes against the wheel so that when the axle nut is torqued down there is zero tolerance between the bearing and the wheel and the bushings need to be made the exact size in order to achieve this.I have never had my axle shift at all.

Sorry I'm not trying to take over your build thread I just have questions I have been woundering about, So if I was going to use a pillow block for my secondary Clutch I want to buy, how would I stop it from moving or will it move at all ,here's a picture of the secondary clutch and I just want to use one pillow bearing, where the bearing already is.

You would be fine using a pillow block bearing as a support for your secondary clutch depending on how much room that you have to mount it,there are also flange type bearings that could be used in that location.

Thanks, and I have Little space that's why I'm using the pillow block bearing

Here I have turned down the T6061 Aluminum to the size that I need for my frame insert bushings. Next I will cut the turned shaft down in sections and face them off and drill them. I would have just bought a smaller diameter piece of aluminum and used it but this was a remnant that was given to me for free so all that it will cost me is a little time.
These bushings will be 1.106 tall when I face them off so that they will be the correct size to fit into the tubing.

Here is the next machining step, and then the finished bushings. These go inside of the frame rails at certain locations as one will see later on.
