2009 Baja Reaction with a 6.5 clone

So this is my go kart
its a 2009 baja reaction 150cc with a 6.5 hp clone
picked it up brand new without and engine (apparently the guy blew it already -_-) for 600 bucks lol anyway im looking to put a 13 hp clone on it in the next month or so, so ya it does about 20 mph right now lol but w/e it works and it runs thats all i care about

What gear ratio are you running? that back sprocket looks WAY to small, especially for those tires.

sorry i have a 60T on the back now i havent had the time to take new pictures of it and that one was a 40T lol i will admit i had no idea what i was doing and got a 40T haha it barely went anywhere and when it got going it went 2 mph nd i could smell the clutch starting to burn but ya its a 60T now and my clutch is 10T #40/41 chain

need MORE GEAR STILL in my opinion..

Well once you get the 13hp and the a TC it'll be a lot better. That's a lot more power and especially torque over the stock engine. Also weight is what kills those kinds of buggies performance. A lot of them have a big shelf like thing on the back. I yours has it and you dont need it just cut it off if you want lol
