It pulls you in hard. and there is no bottom to the rabbithole... word of advice your new rig might come with wheel “bushings” not bearings. don’t even run the bushings if that is the case! you might find bearings that press in as an upgrade. and if you don’t upgrade the bushing housing wrecks itself. and the wheel slop takes out whatever and it spirals... again this Rabbit was on a mission... almost dug a hole straight to the core..
Thanks for the advice. I did see it has bushings and not bearings. I can't believe how many aftermarket parts are available for these things. Being how cheap this one was to get started, I'm going to mod the $h1t out of this one. Any recommendations on a good forum for these mini crawlers? This is just the affordable hobby for me right now with everything else I have going on right now with home renovations.

Sorry for cluttering with non 18:1 but here’s a 1966 tiger joe massive 1/5 tank. I took out the original motor and used the stock gear on a new motor and mounted it all to the stock gearbox. real Powerhouse.. don’t tell anyone the firing barrel springs have been replaced uhhh I mean not replaced with heavier ones... my Rc list isn’t 18:1 but it is hacky fun.. notice the ktk motor line? The biggest motor on The right also stuffed on the back of the red Jeep with an erector set battery. pulley On the ktk motor the big tire has a groove all the way around for the rubber band to ride in. I’m gonna put steering and an esc in it eventually. closest thing I have to 18:138B091F0-9441-4007-BFFA-E43714E177B4.jpeg97BA08E5-750B-4014-88E3-C4184C7F4BF2.jpegBB210D0A-58C7-4F0B-870F-7CE990184B8D.png

Don‘t know why I never posted this? I do know the range of my flysky controller is not the best. I had a massive servo pulling the steering like butter. Another small Servo for the throttle.. cutting a 3hp loose and loosing signal? Or having trouble? Can’t happen we all saw what happened to C@C if it defaults to wot it’s not gonna stop till it hits something. I scrapped the idea. A1B3AE89-6E9F-461B-BCAC-5DAF42BA893D.jpeg

Ahh see modding it before it‘s arrived. the only way it won’t be a letdown halfway through the battery on the first run. Again that holes deep edit: not a letdown as in not good.. just as in I’m in the rc forums and the amount of dads test running and breaking there kids b-day present on the first run is staggering

All RC are welcome :welcome2: :p :bannana:

I have gears on the way...still have to fix front servo, install new motor and my S.S. driveshafts, I only mod to improve what I think/know works in the real world.

My tires are scale 44" tall, I stretched the W.B. 2.25" front and back, scale of course.

Been messing around the yard with for 2 days now. Ordered new tires so far. Have another one coming today, The Jeep Wrangler version. I think it's called the Arizona. Going to order a TRX4m next week. Not sure if I want the Bronce like yours or the Defender. With the second one coming today, I can start messing with the other one. The TRXm has soooo many aftermarket parts available. :devil2:💰
