My go-kart was barely creeping along after a certain point. At some rpm it would just stop increasing power. A few possible ideas:
1. change jets with the season to account for running with air too thin.
2. something up with the CVT and temps?
3. not deciding to ride my kart in 100 degree weather.
Any thoughts? I have a Subaru robin with a 30 series CVT.

Hey, Stupid, you have asked the same question in several topics, now. You have recieved all of the answers from the members, you have even gotten the "HIVE MIND" response from an MODERATOR, and yet, you refuse to change your focking belt. Why do you keep asking for advice and then arguing with the advice. You need a belt. Enjoy your summer vacation with your 10 MPH mini bike, then buy a damn belt.

Yea, hotter temps effecting an engine is more of an EFI thing. Higher intake temps/pulling timing/emissions crap...

Its not impossible. Do you know how hot your head is getting? You seeing 400-450°F?

Just in case, clean your engine. I noticed yours was dirty.

A clean air-cooled engine runs cooler (for obvious reasons). Make sure the cooling fins are clean and clear, make sure the blower shroud is empty of accumulated debris. Make sure a field mouse hasn't taken residence and built a large nest behind the cooling tins that are fastened to the cylinder head. The blower itself is a big vacuum that sucks in air around the recoil starter and blows it over the cylinder. That in itself can be problematic ....

Make sure you're not running too lean. The benefits of a richer mixture (wet) means cooler head temps.

I’ll get one of them, I have no idea.
Edit: It is very unlikely as I would start the kart, and run it for 5 mins. The creeping would start immediately so I’m not sure if that is the problem. It could also be another symptom of too lean fuel. However, if I am correct the engine should be running richer as the air is thinner with less oxygen in hotter temps.

I have never seen a NOTICEABLE difference in power output, running in 70 degrees and up to about 106 degrees. Above that, we stay home.
When you say noticeable, how noticeable? My kart could do 28 flat ground before, and now at full throttle it does like 5-10mph. The other person driving it said that if they pulse the throttle it keeps going like a rocket. It seems to lose power around a certain rpm. With pedal to the metal it gets moving quick and then goes back to limping at a certain point.
A quick nighttime (below 100*) test ride
...should answer the "temp"/"part" of your question

Does the engine sound normal
...durin' (whilst) your "creepin' issue" (is happin')?
I am going to ride it in a cooler temp soon, but me and my dad going to catch 4014 today so not tonight.

THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM!

GET A NEW BELT!

Say it louder so the kid in the back can hear.

Or Maybe put some air in the tires, that might help. 🤔
I am going to get a new belt when I get home. However, I believe that isn’t the issue. Typically belts begin to slip gradually, no? My kart went from rocket to nothing super quick. It also did it at a certain rev point. It would be gaining speed and then start losing it again. I think that points to another issue. I WILL GET A NEW BELT!

Thats the CVT not having enough belt width...
