Well then get a job! Then you can afford his overpriced err mm ceramic ball bearings
WTF dude! Yer talking about high performance ceramic bearings. Suckerrrr ahhh customers buy them all the time when they have failures with standard plastic muffler bearings. The plastic ones fail at around 149°F our have been tested to 87900°F
(lab results only. Your results may vary. Not responsible for fires due to bearing failure)

So I’m not stupid. I respect the gaslighting but I know about muffler bearings.

What a shame, that belt still looks sort of new but just has a little defect.
I’m always on the fence about the efficiency and durability of the TC/TAV. It seems they’re not idiot proof. Not calling you an idiot, Squid, but there’s always these issues with them.

I respect the gaslighting

It’s not gaslighting, they're just busting your balls. In any event...

When you say noticeable, how noticeable? My kart could do 28 flat ground before, and now at full throttle it does like 5-10mph. The other person driving it said that if they pulse the throttle it keeps going like a rocket. It seems to lose power around a certain rpm. With pedal to the metal it gets moving quick and then goes back to limping at a certain point.

I am going to ride it in a cooler temp soon, but me and my dad going to catch 4014 today so not tonight.
When I say no noticeable difference, I mean that running the kart in 70 degree weather and running the kart in 100+ degree weather, there is no noticeable difference in performance using the " seat of your pants " measuring device. Feels and runs the same. I ( like many others ) don't think warm ambient temperature is your problem.

... One thing my dad mentioned is it could get unhappy at a certain temp and I should plan for that.
"Getting unhappy" is also possible, but unlikely in a mere 100° of the Fahrenheits. You can cook your sparky coil/ignition magnetron thing.

They do fail but luckily they're in a good place in the middle of the airstream, usually just upstream from the blower inlet.

I'm curious to see your engine temps with the sensor gun 🔫. Do a reading at idle (5 minutes?) then do a reading after some laps or whatever hellraising you do.

But I agree, it's gotta be the belt or the tranny. Oh to be a fly on the wall, or a GoPro mounted on the roll bar looking at the TC.
