glad to see you finishing up this one. if you could get some more rectangular tubing the best thing to do would be stack another one on top and then cap all 4 sides using two plates.

it shouldnt be a problem if the struts are solid. are you going to paint the bike and leave the fender with a polish?

very nice fender. it has good lines. i would suggest using backstep welding to prevent it from twisting. but the way you did it is a fine job.
