Do we have a logo or a patch?

Yes, but now that I'm up to operating temp... Note the 301 redirect when I enter "google.com". Google's server just redirects to their www subdomain.

Do we have a logo or a patch?

To simplify my original post, the "www." pretext was an accident that people began believing was required in a URL, when in fact, it's not. So, no "www.", because it always has and always will be useless.

    brake fluid help??

Probably. DOT 5.1 (polyethylene glycol) is also hygroscopic, while DOT 5 is (diorgano polysiloxane) is hydrophobic.

    brake fluid help??

DOT 5.1 is polyethylene glycol based. DOT 5 is silicone-based. DOT 5 non-silicone is an oxymoron; DOT 5 fluid, by definition, contains at least 70% diorgano polysiloxane (silicone), by weight).

    Self-Sustaining Go Kart

Welcome to DIYGK. Contrary to what mckutzy said, no, that's not possible. That principle is known as "perpetual motion" and is physically impossible (see: Law of Conservation of Energy)

Engine won't start when hot after sitting a few minutes

Since when is a no-start condition a symptom of worn piston rings? Worn rings would result in excessive blow-by and oil consumption, and potentially, hard cold-starting and poor performance.

How do you say that in Swedish?

Yeah, well...my Mom can't stand when I let slip 'slow up'. "You sound just like your father!" :surrender: Virginians have a funny thing for naming towns. We have: Long Island South Boston Lord Botetourt (Pronounced "bot-uh-tot") Buena Vista (bu-na vis-tuh) Gloucester (Glos-ter) Yeah, dunno...

How do you say that in Swedish?

My boss, who's from Massachusetts, was giving me a hard time the other day because I was telling him to "cut the engine off" and "cut it back on". Apparently that's a southern US thing. My grandmother says "over yonder", and I spend many weekends "down home" where she grew up. I'm sure there...

    It's REEEEALLY Annoying When...

I've had great luck on Ebay. Bought ski boots for $60 and skis for $90 last winter. Just recently bought a new HP power cord for my laptop for $25 and a 50mm enlarger lens for $11 shipped.

Wipe that silly smile off your face!

Oh yeah, so true. The coworkers are one of the few things I miss about working at the stealership. Not all of them, just a few :lolgoku: Interestingly enough, there are two other full time guys at this shop who've been in the business for decades. They're perfectly happy doing oil changes and...

Wipe that silly smile off your face!

Not a perfect day today, but it was my first "official" day at my new job- wrenching at an independent shop. The owner kind of threw be a bone and payed me under the table to work when there was extra work, since I quit my old job. He was happy enough with my work that he decided on Friday to...
