No problem... You might be ok with the torque of the 13hp. Remember......if you have a larger displacement with more torque, you can gear higher.

I reset the green spring on number 3 but I am still putting in the heavier yellow spring on number 3. I have good snap ring pliers. No problems there! The green spring is too weak.....it's good for flat land only. The yellow spring is the ticket.

It was the float that needed lowered a bit. I set the engine angle at about 6 degrees.

Does the angle of the engine affect the float setting? Mine is slightly higher in the front (carb closer to the ground). My plate is adjustable (welded it up myself). Should engines be installed parallel to the ground? This cart was a shifter cart with a crappy "kinroad" engine on it. I...

I know you hate tecumseh Kaptain but it's built and runs strong except for the carb issue.

I had a sproket off center and it would break chains constantly.

no low oil shut off and I was told that the carb was plenty rich....so no increase in jet sizing. I should check the plug.....it's an E3
