With 22s a 72 X 10 will work fine. If you already have the 18lb. springs, use them. You can get too heavy of valve springs, but up to 26lb. you are good. 32 and up ( which is for a highly modified, very high rpm ) engine, you need to install stainless steel valves. The cheesy Chinese pot metal...

Not that you need more work to do, but if your usage is mostly off road ( and especially if a young driver ) is involved lots of stop and go, a 30 series torque converter will really work out a lot better for you.

That came out really nice. 40 got to feel a lot faster in something that small. Adjust your tie rods so that your front tires are pointed in just a tiny bit. From the pictures, it looks like they are toe out. It will steer a little better.
