    Sorry second post. The reason why i would get it would be for me, when i got my first kart is was just like that. Get that going and see how everything works and goes together and it will open the doors for how you can make exactly what you want down the road. Good luck

    Just a guess but the Verter is for the torque not the top end. The clutch gives you a 1 to 1. Just a thought..

    Ok the wife was right :devil2: This kart goes about 35 and is o toy for my 2 daughters. I have a gas pedal stop but it does not seem to matter. Once this clutch engages you are off. I have the first video of me doing the first test drive and even tho it does not seem that fast it really is...

    Thanks for all your imput. I am thinking of just taking the engine down to the hardware store and just trying to test every screw. In the last picture you can see there is no hole for any set screw. I thought about drilling and tapping one my self but as you can see the clutch opens to 3 arts...

    Ok I got my clutch from tractor supply. When I went to put it on there was no hole to screw it secure it to the drive shaft. the kind I got needs a screwin the drive shaft to hold it on. So I look throught my bucket of extra bolts ect and cannot find a bolt that will fit. Does any one know...
