Ok the wife was right :devil2: This kart goes about 35 and is o toy for my 2 daughters. I have a gas pedal stop but it does not seem to matter. Once this clutch engages you are off. I have the first video of me doing the first test drive and even tho it does not seem that fast it really is.

The second video I will post tonight will be of my daughters and the accident they had :worried2: no one got hurt but it was scary.

But in all the kart works and the help I got off this site was amazing thanks. I will add a few more videos tonight.

Geez, Kibble! That's sounds EXACTLY like my wife! She watches one of the kids take off, and it's "You let them ride THAT?!? NO MORE!" TOO FUNNY!
But!..... If you get a few beers in her, SHE will actually ride this stuff. I wish I had a video of her on the lowrider.... it's pretty hard to get the planets to align like that, though.

No, it was just funny how she said it and then quickly corrected herself!

Sweet!! "I meant shoot..." LOL!!

I hope my kart turns out something like yours, and I have a few questions for you: How many teeth on the sprocket/clutch? How many hp is that engine? Looking good!

or you could limit the throttle, there should be a little 'stopper' on the engine that u can ajust. a screw that screws up to the throttle linkage. that would be the best and easiest option

He'll burn up his clutch then... Unless he leaves enough room for the clutch to engage and run correctly...

oh yeah.. i ddint think of that.

maybe limit it to say... half throttle so the clutch can enage AND get a bigger rear sprocket. that would be the best
