That’s the plan for the front. I might try the sandpaper also. The rear brakes were abused. When I replaced it the pads were worn completely out and it was steel on steel.

I did and the parking does work now. I’ll go back and check again. I’m concerned the front brakes aren’t working at all. I haven’t driven it much but the brakes seem very weak. How good should the brakes be? I have no frame of reference.

Carb replaced with a new one. Seems it may be set too lean. Has anyone else had this problem. Having trouble getting restarted after initial startup. I’m guessing the auto choke cuts off when warm and it’s not rich enough to restart.

I’ve let out the cable at the handle and at the brake but cannot get it tight enough to hold the kart in place. Is there an adjustment I’m missing?

Front brakes on this Kasea seems to have rusted and locked up. I pulled them apart and found rust on the piston. I had to pull them out with pliers. Too me a few minutes to get them to even turn. Not sure if it’s worth trying to buff them up and put them back. Any suggestions?

Well it’s not mine. I’m repairing for a friend and I have trying to save money for them.

Ok well that is probably the route I’ll have to take. I looked on line and seen how they are made some the parts probably rusted away.

The seat belt buckle will no longer release the tongue. It’s been outside. Is there any way to replace the buckle?

I got into the steering gear from the top access and discovered the grease is like thick glue. It’s almost solid. Turns only with great effort. Any suggestions for repair other than replacement.
