DuroMax 16hp - longer carb bolts?

Problem is one of the bolts is tapered along the shaft. The threaded end is thicker for about 1 1/2" an it tapers down for the rest of the bolt. see pic- I ended up just putting the aluminum adapter in my drill press and then drilling it out with a 1/2" bit about halfway down the hole. That...

My throttle cable solution (if you want to call it that) is really simple. Since I still have the governer (series 30 belt drive) I just drilled a small hole in a "thumb turn" bolt and bolted that to the throttle lever and put a cable stop on the end. I just attached it to a scrap piece of flat...

Was having alot of forward and backward movement of my motor since I mounted it to the swing arm. I tack welded 2 LS7 valve springs together and I stuck this little 4" strut thingy I had laying around inside the springs and welded it to the cart. Now the engine movement is alot better. I also...

I welded a frame up and bolted the engine to the frame. The engine does have some backward & foward movement to it due to that its mounted to the swing arm. I have an idea on how to limit its movement, just gotta find a time when its less than 100 degrees outside. ---------- Post added at 10:03...

Today I got the engine welded in, chain fitted, filled up the oil and put some gas in it and fired it up. Engine and clutch seem to be working fine. Gotta get a few more little things mocked up and clean up the wiring and break it down for paint next week.
