What is this

Recently traded for riding mower. How old do you think this is? Runs great, getting ready to strip paint and redo! Comments please!

looks like a kart with a shell and bumper :lolgoku:
anywho, it looks like something from a public kids gokart track judging from the safety bumpers.
take off any limiters that may be on it, and that thing will cruise lol
nice find

That's the reason my daily watch is this:

:funnypost: :roflol:

In my line of work all those vintage watches would suffer a horrible death, so I'll leave them to you. And since the time when I got stuck with a mandated company cell phone, I haven't even owned a wrist watch.... And what with OSHA standards having gotten tougher since then, the phone on my hip is now the most convenient way to carry the time with me....

But I still remember some of the (at the time) cool watches I had along the way.....

Nah Pat.. a phone is not a replacement for a wristwatch!

A mechanical watch is THE musthave piece for a grown up man.
(that's why a smartwatch would NEVER touch my wrist)

A phone.. yeah, screw it.. nice to have.. I can live without!
You'd never see me not wearing a watch.
I cannot go without my watch as I couldn't without my glasses :D

Any type of wrist watch that I've had experience with do not like strong magnets of strong magnetic fields: and between the magnetic chuck on the surface grinder and the tig welder they're just too much of a hassle. Add the fact that OSHA would fine me directly (not the company) if they caught me wearing one on the job, and you'll see that it's just not worth it to me anymore.....

And working in a machine shop means that wearing my stash of DYI t-shirts is a fashion statement; watches???? Heck, most of the new kid's don't even know what one is......

Depending on who'll be driving it, you could also "put it on a diet" & shed some weight...

...& why was there two separate threads on this?

Already shredded some weight! Why two separate threads? Cause I'm a dumb @$$! Not very good with electronics. My wife had to show me howmto finally get this forum thing going! As far as color I was tossing between Wimbledon white with blue stripe or the blue and orange sceame! Le mans is a great movie, have it and watch it often, any old school movie with cool cars are great! Matter of fact probably watch it this week end, Elvis had some cool vintage racing movies, also have some of them! I'm surprised no body hasn't asked me why I don't fill out the about me section! Going to do that next! Then I think for now on I'll just use the project section !!anybody see my other project " ed Roth inspired wheel barrow kart" its under project section, I think pretty cool, go and chceck it

  :surrender: :surrender: Please fill in your profile; you don't want the Poboy posting photos of himself in your thread, and those of us who survived the last time he did will thank you for preventing such an occurrence..... :ack2: :ack2:

I think I'm gonna hurl........

Amusement park diet

Just a couple pictures after her diet. Save weight and looks much sexier I think!! Those wrap around bumpers may be needed back at the track, but not around here! How can I dodge the law with only 3" of ground clearance. Tear up the drive way pretty good! Probably shed about 50-60 lbs at least!:auto::smiley_omg:

Very true; The big, heavy wrap-around bumpers are used to protect the kart & driver in a track environment; not being used in said environment means they can safely be removed...

How can I dodge the law with only 3" of ground clearance.

Either:
- don't drive it on public roads or
- don't get caught :lolgoku:
