    Engine and chassis identification

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcb8pnYu1LA This is the exact kart I have. After looking into it, it looks like "Easykart" was a collaboration between IAME and Birel and I believe it was created to make a simple TAG class (more popular in Europe). The 100cc engine that I have here is believed...

    Engine and chassis identification

Hey Sid! Just got some info back from IAME and it turns out its an Easy Kart engine on a Birel R30C-Y. Pretty interesting...and if it's the 125cc it makes a lot of power (way more than my KT100). If it turns out to be the 100cc, it makes power around the KT100...none the less I'm glad it's...

    Engine and chassis identification

Really does look like a K35! Only thing that has me confused is that it has electric start...any info on how much power this engine makes and fuel mixture? Btw here's the pic of the logo and electric start :) IMG_2087 by John Baker, on Flickr IMG_2088 by John Baker, on Flickr

    Engine and chassis identification

Any help is appreciated! I just picked up this kart and it needs some work...currently stripping it down and replacing all the bolts/nuts along with adding bodywork, seat, battery, etc. I saw that it was an IAME engine and started looking at images of reed valve engines but couldn't pinpoint a...

    Kart Bodies And Fuel System

Those side pods from comet karts would work perfectly, wonder why it says they're black but they're blue in the picture...confusing

The hole could have also been used to start many types of motors, like a clone or animal.

    Kart Bodies And Fuel System

For the Black kart, either breadbox bodywork like it has now, or the KG Duo bodywork. For the Red/Black kart, only KG Unico would work. If you post something in the WTB section in ekartingnews, I'm sure a lot of people will find some spare bodywork.

    Kart Bodies And Fuel System

For the black kart, KG Duo bodywork should work because it bolts up to the nerf bars. As for the red/gray kart, KG Unico bodywork is what you have and is what will work. Bodywork isn't cheap, but you can get a nice used set on ekartingnews. You can find one for sale or post something in the...

2 newbies and a garage sale go kart (Clutch question)

Unfortunately, with clutch, you also need a starter. There's a WTB section in ekartingnews where I'm sure someone would get rid of a cheap starter for $30-$60. To push start it, it would have to be direct drive, which means when you stop, it turns off (not worth it).

2 newbies and a garage sale go kart (Clutch question)

I am not sure the clutch is fried, but I figured out that it is a wet clutch, hope someone can chime in. Below is a picture of what the actual clutch and "cover" with the teeth look like, the clutch looks very similar to yours. On a side note, I am 100% sure the engine is a KT100, and you...

2 newbies and a garage sale go kart (Clutch question)

:welcome2: Hey, welcome to the forum. The engine is a KT100, maybe the 80 is the amount of teeth on the axle sprocket. There are two different types of clutches; a dry clutch and a wet clutch. I'm not certain, but I believe you have a wet clutch and it has a cover (the teeth or "sprocket" you...

Hey guys/gals I'm in need of some help

Check it out with Margay, they usually have their serial number on their right spindle. Here's their website, https://www.margay.com/what-kart-do-i-have.html, just fill in the information and they'll tell you exactly what model it is if it is a Margay.

    ..missed me much?

Looks like you got a very nice Tony Kart, maybe you can send one of those rotax engines my way :lolgoku: If you want to identify it, there should be a plate under the seat

    Another kart

This kart is meant for a KT100 or a TAG motor, the seat supporting bars and rear cross support are in the way of the chain. You would have to cut the seat mount and the rear cross support and move them, which in turn would ruin the handling and be more work.

    420cc predator/tony kart build

You could remove the third cassette bearing, because you only need 2, then put the sprocket in that keyway, here is a picture for reference. Also, remove the seat mount that attaches to the "cassette holder", it's not necessary to have it You see how The third "axle mount"/cassette is...

    420cc predator/tony kart build

Does it have a keyway on the other side of the bearing hanger, I know it sounds silly, but there's always a possibility. I would recommend to remove the tape just to make sure all the axle components are fine on the future. And the slot in the metal allows you to put another sprocket and a key...

Agree with jbe24jg. Also, have you tried removing the black tape to see what's under it, maybe there's a keyway, unlikely though, but it's worth a try.

    Help Identify Emmick Kart

I hear Emmicks have it on the rear bearing hanger, or around the steering column, not sure about that though

    Help Identify Emmick Kart

Sorry about that, you could pick up a used one on ekarting news instead. I don't know much about the TCI box, but I'm guessing aftermarket would be fine

    Help Identify Emmick Kart

It depends on who it is to determine what it's worth, It's worth like $300 to me, it has a kt100 engine, but there is no adapters for pull start, i know they have an electric starter that you could buy used for $70 at ekartingnews.com in the classifieds section. Btw you can complete the bodywork...
