    Torque Converter Help PLEASE!!

Ok just double checked the throttle and the cable has somehow slipped out a little. I reached back and hit the one on the engine and ZOOM! Lol. Thanks Kartfab. You had a big influence on me buying the thing in the first place. I watched a youtube video of the cars and cameras guys and heard them...

    Torque Converter Help PLEASE!!

The chain was binding a little at first until I got the spacers right. More of a rub than a bind. But no resistance anywhere. Motor is running well as its almost new itself Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    Torque Converter Help PLEASE!!

Gearing is a 60T on the axle and 10T on the jackshaft. 13" tires. I weight 165lbs. Here's some pics including one showing the slack that I'm able to pinch which I think is correct. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    Torque Converter Help PLEASE!!

Ok guys, what I have is a Chinese knockoff of a comet 30 series tav2 mounted on a bone stock predator 212. I have converted the kart from centrifugal clutch to torque converter. I haven't counted the sprocket teeth so I don't know the final drive ratio. I cannot post pictures at this time but...

I don't know if it's available on all smartphones but I use an app called tapatalk to browse forums on my iphone. It lets you post pics straight from the app.

A mini street legal version... Now there's an idea. What do you register and insure something like that under? And some states like this one require yearly inspections I guess with the proper tires and lighting it could be street legal. I just don't know how to do the "legal" part. Lol

I like that '32 looks nice. I would want one without the fenders and a chopped top on it. Not really worth pursuing at this point. It's just a like to have kind of thing. I don't really know what I would do with it after I built it. I wouldn't want to ride it everywhere and get it all dirty and...

    B&S 6 hp OHV

Wevie, Have you looked at the predator 212's. I bought one brand new last week for just over $100 shipped. Another $100 will get you a parts kit from OMB and put you at around 9hp. The governor is still intact at this point so if you want to further boost it, billet flywheels and rods are...

That's kinda what I had in mind Texas. Maybe an electric powered kart with a Razor motor for toddlers.

I see that they are but I think some could actually work on a custom build. Although I would like to see a 32 Ford Roadster body for a full size kart. I have a fiberglass dodge ram body in my shop right now that I am repairing and painting for a friend. It fits on a full size 2-seater but I...

    Sprocket wobbles on axle

I second the loctite and lock washers. The washers alone may do the trick.

Broken bolt/bit/tap removal from aluminum or stainless steel.

Lol you guys crack me up. Nowhere did I say this wasn't hazardous. This post was not to say it's the way EVERYONE should do it. I couldn't find anywhere in this crappy town with an EDM but I did try that option first. I guess I should add that immediately after breaking it I soaked it in Kroil...

    New project!

Ok quick update. After two weeks of dissolving the broken bolt with a broken bit in it, I finally removed the bolt. I reassembled the motor removing the governor and installing a billet rod. Put it on the cart. Pulled the cord a few times and bang... The engine fires. Pulled the cord again and...

Broken bolt/bit/tap removal from aluminum or stainless steel.

This is mainly for when the easy out, tap, or drill bit is broken off in the hole. Ever tried to drill one of those?? I've removed plenty of broken bolts in my day. Trust it or not... It works.
