I have a HEAVY go kart. do you think my 90 amp welder will do the trick?

Ok thanks guys. Lost my freaking job so my funding has been grounded(There is money in the bank but that's for a hang glider XD). I'm sticking with the 90 amp and am resorting to using some old gas pipe from my neighbor. :surrender:

I have a HEAVY go kart. do you think my 90 amp welder will do the trick?

OK thanks guys. I'm positive the the piping has 1/8 thick steel. Them things that hold your axle on are about 1/4 inch, if not bigger. And I must chop those off and re-weld 'em. Is it a safe job for my little welder?

I have a HEAVY go kart. do you think my 90 amp welder will do the trick?

The wire I'm using was included with the machine I think. The steel tubes on my kart are 1 1/2 inches thick. It's hollow tubing od course, I'd say they're 1/8 an inch thick. But I plan on adding some 1/4 inch steel plating for my swing arm. My local mechanic has a 125 amp welder he doesn't use...

My kart is too loud and bumpy

I've got this go kart that is hella loud, I need to quite it down or I'll never get to ride it. My Kart is also hella bumpy, you feel every little nik that you hit. The only fun place I have to ride is all bumps. All the bumps bent my axle and that led to my wheel snapping off. I need...

    Street Kart Project, 120rwhp

All IO can say would prob be obvious to you, But I'll give a go anyways. A FREAK 100 HP ENGINE WOULD TEAR THAT THING TO PIECES! If you were to chop off the passenger side seat you could fit a motor cycle motor there I think. Then you'd still have room for the tranny. But I still think a motor...

    Having engine trouble I am!

I asked if someone could point me out the idle screw so I could try it. I did adjust the idle and the choke and now it runs like a charm. And the premium gas really does make a difference. My kart starts faster, goes faster, and idles better. Crappy gas can really **** **** up, especially that...

My Kart - Need help, first time.

If you have a welder and metal cutting saw, you can do anything! If yopu're going to extend that frame, you'll need tools, metal, time and skill. If you do extend it, you may want to extend the steering, but with length, you' get height. I would just try and get a cheap 5-7.5 HP engine, you may...

    Having engine trouble I am!

Ok, I cleaned out the carb BIG TIME. There were a million little screws and bolts that hadn't been shiny in years. I cleaned both jets, and just cleaned it ALL! I gave it an oil change(which had been put off for a year by the last owner) put on a fuel filter and upgraded to premium gas. Kart...

    Having engine trouble I am!

I cleaned out my carb agian and then it ran OKish. The engine idles at such a slow speed it has trouble staying running. I also switched gas tanks to one with a primer. So I primed the fuel line, and then the engine ppuffed out massive plumes of white smoke. And now I'm back to the engine dying...

    Having engine trouble I am!

I did a carb cleaning, engine started rite up afterwords. It didn't die when I gave it gas, but instead now dies whenever it wants to, wether idling or reving high. Did I not clean it enough? I didn't do too great a job, do you need to be meticulous when cleaning carbs?
