We have members here who can walk you through a repair and refurbishment of the TC/Torque Converter. If you can, show us photos of the condition of your TC unit and all its parts. They can advise on what you need. Fortunately, there are Chinese-made TC’s all over the globe 🌐 so I do not foresee...

Try to make it as light as you can, brother Flipolive. Weight is the enemy to most everything that’s good about a go kart, it’s the number one enemy of speed. The only thing I don’t like is there’s no bolt threads sticking out of the other side of the nuts on the sprocket.... We forgot to ask...

Great refurb Karttekk. I like the two-tone paint job. Go karts should be fairly flashy. That giant seat back is very unusual, is that a "Karttekk original" or did it come that way? Never heard of USA Industries before, can you tell us anything about more about them?

It’s a great idea to start the engine first, before making any alterations to it. You never know, the engine may never start out of the box (could be faulty/defective). Seen a few where a pushrod fell off the valve rocker during shipment. I break it in in stock form too. Use it and see how...

Post some pics. A great many folks will love to see anything related to a new wiring harness in particular. :useless:

Yeahhbbut what’s this in red? ;) I think people on fleabay still sell the entire governor and throttle arm assembly (all the lightl blue zinc plated pieces in WTR’s pic) as a take-off or discarded part because they think it’s not suitable for vehicle use. They buy these instead...

Nice. Looks like a drop-in fit. Did not expect that. :cornut: So the throttle arm doesn’t hit the sheath/conduit before it reaches full travel, make sure the cable clamp is holding just the end of the sheath or 1/8” or so is poking out.

ATVs, if the XRS qualifies as one, might be legal in his jurisdiction if the criteria are met. Many of them have lights, mirrors, seatbelts, turn signals, horns, decently fast…. Young minds, fresh ideas, Rocker. Be tolerant! Most of what I have read says ATV or UTV, not go kart...

Did you ever get this fixed? You should have named the purpose. We thought it was go kart or minibike related. There’s illustrations on page 27+ chapter 3 in this manual that shows the “paperclip". May be clear as mud but these manuals were written for high IQ mechanics. 😁...
