homelite 179 cc throttle help please

Most engines won't even rev high enough with the stock valve springs to get to a point where they'd blow a rod. Other than tecumseh's but those are special

Worthy trade or junk on wheels?

Got one of those, good karts lol. Only problem I had was when I moved the axle down to fit a tc the brake didn't fit right, had to extend the rod.

    My new karts/ID

Little update: Red kart sits in pieces, I'm in the process of fixing it's axle. When I got it apart I saw that it had spun both bearings and had worn the axle out, so it got welded and then most of the extra material ground off and I've been in the process of filing it all back down to fit new...

    Kawasaki powered kart

Was once pretty, but dumb ideas lead to bad fabrication and too big engines. Also broke the front spindles...

    Tourque conv question

JT! man stop yelling at him lol, and I don't think an axle is suspention and he also said he was planning on getting a new one. Gopowersports and bmi karts have parts like axles and sprockets as well as torque converters. But yes you'd wan't a gear ratio of atleast 6:1 ---------- Post added at...
